O’Pen Skiff sails
The BIC O’Pen Skiff is a modern, high-performance dinghy weighing under 100 lbs, easy to rig, and good for teaching junior sailors sailing fundamentals.
It uses a single sail setup, but instead of a traditional triangular shape, it has a distinctive square-top design that gives it a powerful, contemporary look. With an area of about 4.5 square meters, the sail provides plenty of drive while still being manageable for young sailors.
Our O’Pen Skiff sails were developed with a sailing club in France and two sailing clubs in Australia. They are build in Dacron for longevity, and can be customized to the user preferences.
